I stopped here to get an errant sensor fixed up and I stumbled on Ranaji and the entire superbikers group of Bhubaneswar. So they invited me to the dealership of Harley Davidson and we spent a wonderful evening with friends and one lady biker. The dealers wife.
Once again, the questions were more than what I could handle. What everyone clearly understood from my answers was that an RTW is possible. Solo.
The dealership itself was a visual delight and Harley ofcourse is a lifestyle product, so everything was extremely visible. A lovely collection of merchandise. They had a roving bus with four Harley’s inside like an advertisement that attracted phenomenal attention. Nice going Harley.
So to even up, I invited the press to the Triumph showroom where my sensor was being fixed. I met up with the owner, Dev-a businessman. This was one of best Triumph showrooms in India. UM was nextdoor and Jeep next to it. Clearly, superbikes and luxury automotives are here to stay and compete for the market.
I have been to Bhubaneswar before, on my India trip and since then, a lot has changed.
The biking culture.
Off to sleep.
Goodnight!
Thanks a lot for sharing tour diary.
Lots of love.
Thanks
